ISC participates in launching the 16-Day Campaign to Combat Violence Against Women and Girls

ISC participated in the annual conference launched by the Iraqi National Women’s Directorate for the 16-Day Campaign to Combat Violence Against Women and Girls, with the attendance of representatives from governmental and international entities.

The Commission was represented at the conference by Mrs. Hanan Faris Ali, Head of the Women’s Rights and Community Development Division and a member of the Iraqi National Women’s Team, under the supervision of Mr. Mustafa Mohammed Ali, Director of the Iraqi Women’s Affairs Department at the Commission.

The participation of the Commission comes in support of national efforts to enhance the protection and empowerment of women, and in alignment with the objectives of the Iraqi National Strategy for Women 2023–2030—particularly in promoting a safe environment that ensures women’s participation in the financial sector and in decision-making.
