As part of the continuously efforts to monitor the securities brokerage companies, the inspection team at ISC made a field visit to Al-Rabee Brokerage Company, Sulaymaniyah branch.
This visit aims to see the extent of the company's commitment to the rules and regulations issued by the commission, and to monitor the procedures of combating money laundering and terrorist financing. The visit included extensive meetings with some investors, with the aim of enhancing their understanding of the reality of the securities sector and clarifying the procedures and rules issued by the commission. The visit also included reviewing and auditing the accounting operations carried out by the company, ISC inspection team stressed on the importance of these field visits in enhancing transparency and integrity in the activities of the brokerage firms, in order to show the companies' commitment to the determined rules and regulations. They also indicated that the commission would continue to exercise its oversight role firmly and persistently, in order to enhance investors' confidence in the financial market and protect their rights.
