The volunteer work team member at ISC Mr. Munther Majid participated in a meeting that was organized by the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers, which lasted for three days, the meeting was attended by Governmental Coordination and Citizens Affairs Department in the General Secretariat, and representatives of ministries, governorates and agencies.
The meeting included an explanation of what the teams provided during their working period, highlighting the proper steps to complete the comprehensive report, and the vital role of volunteer work to communicate with segments of society and strengthen cooperation between citizens.
The meeting rises up the tasks and responsibilities of the teams’ representatives and the need to hold meetings, workshops and seminars to demonstrate the work mechanism, the importance of presenting volunteer ideas, the methods of financing volunteer initiatives, and providing logistical support for these initiatives and supporting them in the media.
At the end of the meeting, it was agreed to hold a workshop for the support teams to clarify the mechanism of work and the possibility of expanding the scope of voluntary initiatives to serve the public interest.
